Process Terminating Due To Rollback Failure

23 February 2010 - 03:22 AM

Has anyone come across the below error message before?

"366 - SQL Error" then "Process terminating due to rollback failure".

This has happened on a client site that is running SQL Server 2005 with PRO-IV V6.2. Does this have something to do with undo table space? Is there a setting in SQL Server that controls this?

File System Error

20 October 2009 - 01:00 PM

I am wondering if anyone out there has found or had issues with particular antivirus programs working alongside Pro-IV. A customer of ours is running McAfee Antivirus Enterprise and recently when trying to run PRO-IV an error message was displayed that simply read 'File System Error'. Upon clicking "OK", the client session was simply terminated. In order to correct the issue the server had to be rebooted. This is the first I've ever seen that particular error message. Does anyone have any idea what would cause that type of error message? Could it be the Antivirus interfering somehow? McAfee does have a feature called On-Access Scan which essentially scans each and every movement that occurs on the server. We have temporarily disabled this feature in order to see if this corrects the strange problem.

Any information would be appreciated.

PRO-IV & SQL Server

17 March 2009 - 03:28 PM

I am looking for some information on the scalability of PRO-IV in a windows environment. The scenario is:

1. PRO-IV Kernel 6.2

2. One database server running the 64 Bit Version of SQL Server 2005 on Windows Server 2008 64 Bit

3. One application server running the 32 Bit PRO-IV Kernel (Until the 64 Bit Kernel is release) on Windows Server 2008 64 Bit

4. Multiple Citrix servers to deliver the user interface

Does anyone have experience with a similar setup? If so, how many users could a single application server handle in your opinion?
