Display Attributes

15 January 2002 - 10:31 PM

Wondering if there is a way to change the way a field displays based on a logical condition. Specifically if an order is two days past the shipping date, I would like the fields to display White on Red as a visual alert to the shipper in a paging screen . I've tried the ATTRIBUTE(?) command but the manual seems a little vague to me on this one and I'm not sure I'm understanding it properly. When I try to call any of the valid ATTRIBUTE #'s my fields end up not displaying. Any info much appreciated.

Numeric Identifier of Current LS / File

08 January 2002 - 08:34 PM

Can anyone tell me what the variables are that represent the current LS# and the current FILE# in an LS. I recall seeing these used in Glovia programs which typically added 100 to this number and then performed different tasks based on the value. I believe they are referred to in native code generated from Superlayer. Any help appreciated.

SYSTEM command

27 April 2001 - 03:44 PM

When attempting to use SYSTEM command, we are getting an unwanted 'System command completed, Returning to Pro-IV' message which forces an enter for Ok. Does anyone know how to disable this from popping up? Example: #I = SYSTEM('ls -l /usr/bin') will create this message once complete.
AIX IBM Unix 4.3.3
Gui Client v?

Any help much appreciated!

Global Report

29 January 2001 - 01:33 PM

Attempting to use global report for the first time and am getting '661 - TYPE MISMATCH IN GLOBAL FUNCTION CALL FOR FUNCTION NAME - HHPPGR01'. Am using the syntax GLOBAL_LSCALL(HHPPGR01,6) from a screen function. Did not see too much documentation about this and was wondering if anyone else is using GR's that may have an idea. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.
