Thanks to all who viewed.

As we couldn't find a fix for this issue, I just wrote a SSIS package to bypass our Unix Emailing dilemma...It seems to be holding water.

Not sure why my font is so small.

Thanks for reading the thread, though, but I was able to find a solution...not exactly what I wanted, but it works.

Cheers,

Ianta,

Please post the CRON job line, and the script, in its entirety,  you are attempting to launch with it.

Glenn,

After analyzing your predicament, I could only think of 2 ways to 'fix' the problems that Adobe updates cause, once they do an update...but no way to prevent them.

The first is to have NetOps be the only ones capable of doing Adobe upgrades on your users computers. Then when they do one, you'll have to change the path in the file to the new path to Adobe.

The other is more time consuming and your 'higher ups' probably won't want to go down that path.

Good Luck.

Since everything was working fine the day before, the first thing to do is not to assume it's a Pro-IV bug. The second thing to do is to see if any programmer made any updates that night, or if this is only happening to a select few, what updates their computers did that night. If no developer made did any releases/updates then perhaps the simplest thing to try is to do a restore on one of the laptops to see if that fixes the problem.
