Thanks for the reply.
Still unclear to me if I should keep the other settings (MAXFILES MAXUSERS USEFILES MAXLOCKS AVGLOCKS) when I use SHMSIZE or just this last one alone.
In the /etc/isamdef file it says use SHMSIZE (alternate to above 4 parms), but there are 5 there????
