Steven is right Balaram.
You need to add the function category to your operator settings. $OPR is the function name that allows this.

Anthony

In Topic: Security Violation Error
19 June 2006 - 08:43 AM
Hi Priya Thomas,
This message usually appears when you are trying to do something on a file that you do not have the proper security settings for.
Each file will have a security category assigned. Each user/operator has file security categories.
If the user/operator does not have the file's security category then the security violation will occur.
Regards,
Anthony

JC,
You should not have to worry about the functions that did not gen PROVIDED they are not in use anymore. One method we use on old functions is to change their security category to one that the users do not have access to e.g. 'OBSOLETE'. Our menu selection ensures that only functions of specific categories can be accessed. This way if an 'OBSOLETE' function is selected the user will not be allowed access.
Regarding the bootstrap corruption, you can always do an ischk just to be sure.
Hope this helps,
Anthony
