Cannot open function "Unknown Control ID!"

21 January 2015 - 05:40 PM

Hi there - can anyone explain to me what the above error is trying to tell me? I had to re-install proiv version 7 client yesterday and now I can see run time functions and data but cannot open any functions. I get ERROR: Unknown Control ID! every time. I cannot find any documentation on this error so I am hoping someone can give me a clue!

Thank You, Amy

Forced Help On in Version 7

07 February 2014 - 05:57 PM

Hi

Does anyone know a quick way to set FHELPF on (enable) in version 7? In version 5 it was set in the Session Properties but it appears that now in Version 7 I need to

enter ENABLE(&#@FHELPF) in my functions. I know it will stay set but I am hoping there is one place I can enable it without having to edit many functions....

any suggestions would be appreciated!

Rounding Problems when report columns auto add

13 January 2010 - 02:45 PM

Hi. I am working in SL version 5.5 (513). I have an issue that I haven't been able to ignore!

My invoices and reports are displaying amounts with 2 decimals. When I flag the column to add in the control break the total does not always equal the sum of the lines above. I want the column to ignore the numbers after the second decimal (just chop off the rest... not round it). I have fields set up in the file as 2 decimal, but the system defaults to 6 ... what am I missing.... the problem is caused by the rounding of the numbers after the second decimal.

I'd appreciate any help. I have a feeling this is an easy fix...?

SL REPORT HEADINGS

19 August 2008 - 02:56 PM

Hi.

I am trying to convert reports to print headings in upper case. I modify the function and the system changes the headings back to lower case. I have looked all through the system settings and just can't seem to find the problem. I don't have the time to change every heading in my dictionary to upper case.... although that seems to be the only thing I can do. If I change the heading (attention to attn, it works but if I need the original heading it overwrites the capitals.)

SL 5.5 version 3.2.5

Thanks for any help, Amy
