Open Client - One time screen cycle not rendering

28 March 2016 - 07:57 PM

We have an inquiry screen where we display the totals by calling "One time screen cycle" in the middle of header and paging screen. The issue we are having is it shows all the totals correctly in MFC client but does not show in Open client. I did put a UMSG to check and the values are all there.  Please refer attached picture of both MFC and Open client.

We recently upgraded from Kernel 7.1.9.0 to 7.1.58.3, and it worked fine in the kernel 7.1.9.0.

Once we accept the job number, we build a memory file to show the details in the list box and before displaying the list box we call the one time screen cycle to display the totals in the middle of the screen.

We tried different browsers and its missing on all the browsers.

I will really appreciate any help in resolving this issue.

Thanks

PROIV

15 January 2015 - 11:35 PM

Hello,

I am trying to schedule a nightly batch process using cron. I have done this with older versions of PROIV but is not working with the new version.

Currently we are using PROIV Kernel Version 7.1.9.0-PR (September 09, 11) and Reality Ver 14 on Red Hat ES 5.

I have been told by PROIV that we have to use ProIV Tasks using ProIV Gateway and it sounds complicated.

I am wondering if any of you are doing batch nightly processing using CRON and if yes then how?

Thanks

Deleting record in Auto Seq file

25 September 2014 - 09:34 PM

Hi,

I am having Issue with deleting the record in Auto Seq file (We are using PROIV Ver 7 and Reality Database). After deleting the records the subsequent records do not Auto Sequence.

I have tried deleting from a paging screen and report, both delete the records but do not auto seq.

In the Example below, We have 3 records with the same primary key plus the highlighted is the Auto Seq number Key (Last key on record)

BEFORE DELETING RECORDS

CEX  NTS-ADH2

OE  603873      DET  090314165529  0001

           AUTO NOTE FROM PROPOSAL-COST:000026.62 ITEM:!ADH COL:!6500 VEND:    300090

OE  603873      DET  090314165529  0002

           TEST NOT FOR AUTO SEQ

OE  603873      DET  090314165529  0003

TEST NOTE FOR AUTO SEQ 2

When I delete the first record with the Auto Seq 0001 (ref below), number 0002 should become 0001 and 0003 should become 0002. But its not as shown below.

AFTER DELETING RECORDS

CEX  NTS-ADH2

OE  603873      DET  090314165529  0002

           TEST NOT FOR AUTO SEQ

OE  603873      DET  090314165529  0003

TEST NOTE FOR AUTO SEQ 2

Thanks

MFC Client Issue

20 March 2013 - 10:59 PM

Hi, We recently upgraded to Kernel Version 7.1.9.0-PR and MFC client 7.1.9.0-PR. Few of our users are having this issue of the MFC client closing on them without any warning or error message. Mostly It happens at one particular point when a user chooses "Accept" or "Cancel" on a global window function, and Poof the whole session will close. The interesting thing is that it will continue to happen at the same place again and again for that user unless the user reboots the computer and then the problem goes away, but may come back after a day or two.
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
