Does anyone know how to obtain the ip address of the computer when a user signs in through open client?
Client.ipaddress only seems to work with the MFC client. In open client, a long string (30+) of alphanumerics is returned.

Another One Looking For Work...
19 September 2006 - 01:16 AM
Hello All,
My current contract is up at the end of the year, so I'm looking for new work. I am a Canadian citizen. I am in the process of appying for my Green Card (through a relative), so I should have that in a few months. I am South African born, so working there would be an option, too. I am completely mobile and would be willing to work anywhere for any length of time. I have 8 years Pro-IV experience in Superlayer and Native. I've worked on Unix and Linux operating systems, with Pro-ISAM and Oracle databases. If anyone is interested in my services or has any questions, please email me at lawalton@niagaraskydive.com. I would be happy to provide you with more information. Thanks.

Prevent Form Feed On Report
26 July 2006 - 02:06 PM
Hello all,
I'm using v.5.5 Rev.3.1.2, GUI and greenscreen. The printer I am using for this report is an OKI Microline 320.
I am trying to suppress the form feed at the end of a report. It is a label print where the user has the option of printing one or more labels to the printer. I would like the print job to finish at the end of the last label without doing a form feed to the end of the page. The report has one LS. The page length is defined as "blank". I have suppressed page header, first line and first form feed. I have an EOF control break with no line skips. (I have tried the report with no control breaks, and this did not stop the form feed.) Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks,
Leigh Anne

prevent page break in middle of group
21 July 2005 - 08:00 PM
I am control-breaking on a variable (which happens to be the first key of the primary file) in a paging report. I have a header before and after the records of the group. How would I prevent a page-break from happening in the middle of a group. In other words, start a new group on a new page if I know it will be broken up with a page break? Thanks.
CANCEL NOT PERMITTED
29 October 2004 - 02:26 PM
Hi. Is there any way of disabling or getting rid of the annoying utility: CANCEL NOT PERMITTED - DETAIL RECORDS HAVE ALREADY BEEN PROCESSED? A global solution would be ideal, but if there's something that can be done at the function level, I'll take it. Thanks.
