Does anybody have or know of any tools/reports for searching a range of functions for a particular piece of text?
As TNT Logistics Ltd. have been sold off and have been rebranded as CEVA Logistics Ltd. and we need to remove all references to TNT on screens and reports. We have logic search/replace tools but finding 'TNT' in screens and reports is a nightmare.

Pro-IV / Oracle multiple databases
15 February 2006 - 04:01 PM
Can anybody let me know how to call an Oracle stored procedure that is in a different database to the default one you are connecting to please?
We have a default database that we are connecting to but also want to be able to communicate with a seperate database for our website.

Pro-IV / Unix defunct sessions
24 January 2006 - 02:09 PM
We have recently updgraded to version 5.5 and started to use Oracle 9i but are gettting defunct unix sessions (HP-UX 11) if we leave the keyboard alone for approx 5 mins. We don't have any problems if we then continue working but over the course of a day with numerous sessions being used we get a large number of these defunct sessions. As soon as we log out of Pro-IV the associated defunct sessions disappear.
Can somebody give us an idea of what we need to do in order stop this please

Date and Time from Oracle
05 September 2005 - 10:11 AM
We are looking at using Pro-IV (ver 5.5) to connect to an Oracle (9i) database but are having problems with the date fields. We can get the date part back no problem but some of the rows contain date and time information in the same column but we cannot get the time information back. Have read the thread on here regarding this topic from 5 years ago but as there are 61 columns in the table I dont want to have to key them all in just to get a time back.
Sorry, its been a long time since I used SQL with Pro-IV but any help would be appreciated.....
