Joseph:
I've felt for a very long time that your posts on this site are a big help and want to thank you for the time I know you put in. I wouldn't mess with scripts that continue to work either. As Mr. MacKenzie points out there are too many other "genuine" issues to deal with. Please don't let the exchanges on this thread cause you to cut back the help you do provide.

Sorry to hear about Curtis. Having been thru the days of 1.4 and 1.5 I certainly agree with everything said. He was a great guy and a great help. The one guy who if he didn't have the answer would get it for you. RIP

On current Windows versions you now need to put the complete path name of the file on the spooler page. The file won't automatically find the Prodata directory the way it did on 1.5.

I believe that it is supposed to work the way Rob explained. That is that it is the same as a 'sel-partial(key1)' command in default logic. That is the way it worked in version 1.5. I've found however that it no longer works from at least version 4.0 on up. Having migrated a great many functions from 1.5 to 4.0 and beyond I've found that you have to put the command in default logic or you don't get the 'partial select'.

Eric:
I doubt that (027) 0r (27) is the problem. Somewhere the print driver/drivers you are using is dumping out the esc character. Sorry I can't help you more.
