Anyone installed and converted from Version 8 to Version 9? If so, have you figured out how to use the Dashboard to configure propath, prodata, etc for development, test, runtime, etc?

Obtaining a List of Runtime Functions
24 April 2015 - 04:17 PM
Version 7.1 linux
I have imported some functions and only included runtime specs. Does anyone know a way to list functions with runtime specs only and exclude the others?
in the Function Selection screen, there is a checkbox for "hide runtime" so there must be a flag somewhere to identify runtime functions. thanks
iscr

Anyone know the proper syntax for iscr to create a cleared sequential file in a work directory? Right now I use cp /prodata/flatfile.pro /workdir/workfilename.pro to create a flat SEQ file on the fly but would like to use PRO-IV iscr for cross platform transparency.
Global Screen Window Size Parameters
03 September 2009 - 11:14 PM
When creating a new Global Screen VIP does not allow entry to Window Size Parameters. Anyone know how to get the parameters set on the fly or how to open up for edit in the Screen Cycle Properties? I want to be able to execute Global_Lscall(Screen_Name) to many screens within the same function. I already have screens converted with parameters but would like to avoid the copy and paste to make it work.
License Server Crash on Linux
15 July 2009 - 11:50 AM
License Server Crash on Linux PROIV 6.1.57.0 linux SUSE 10 Users suddenly received following message a few weeks after the permanent license file was installed on the linux Suse Enterprise 10 Virtual Server: Failed to connect to licence server - 'SERVER_COMMS_FAILED_TO_CONNECT' There is a problem with the PROIV License Server recently discovered by PRO-IV. A small memory leak eventually causes license server to crash. Temporary work around until the 6.2.26.0 maintenance release is to schedule License Server to be stopped and started occasionally.
