Hi
seems like a dumb question and something I should know already but I cant seem to find out if you can (and if so, how ?) the top frame/border of screens/windows in PROIV can be disables.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Doug

PROIV OCX as ACTIVEX control
29 October 2001 - 08:07 AM
We would like to use the PROIV OCX control as an ActiveX Control for displaying in a web browser.
Can you tell us:
Is this possible?
If so - where can we find more info on this and where to get the OCX
OR
What are the object variables we would need to use, specifically:
Class ID
Base URL (For downloading the control if it does not exist on the users PC)
Data (If Required)
thanks
Doug
Any other variable that may be required.
Are there any Parameters required, and what are the values?

Saving PROIV functions as ASCII / Text
30 August 2001 - 07:00 AM
Hi
does anyone know if version 5 of PROIV and/or VIP allows you to save objects (eg functions) as text or ASCII, or any way of doing so, so that standard library or version control systems can do diff's etc between versions to identify differences ?
thanks in advance

Problem accessing WI in lookup mode
14 August 2001 - 07:49 AM
Hi All,
just wondering if anyone else has had a problem accessing another WI from a WI from a scratch variable (A 1 with Window Only and Access in Lookup Mode flags set)when the first WI is in Lookup Mode.
It comes up with '031 - Invalid Mode for Screen' yet the allowable modes in both WI's are ACDL.
It works fine in maintenance mode .... ?
Any ideas on how to get around this would be appreciated.
I am using PROIV 4.6 219 with GUI client 210 on both NT 4 Server and AIX on RS6K
Thanks in advance.
