Hello to everyone!
I am facing a problem with the instruction CLIENT.EXECTUE in VIP and Windows XP/2000. I have a program that makes a sequential file. The program takes long time to perform all the extraction (about 1 hour). When the seq file is finished, I perform a FTP to get it into the client. but when I perform the instruction to check if the local directory exists (See Codebox), the function remain stuck. I can see the window opened (C:\adm\) but the program is not able to continue executing the following instructions.
[codebox] #S = client.execute('c:\adm\','','SW_SHOW') [/codebox]
When I execute the program with less data and the extraction takes about 20 - 25 minutes, the problem doesn't appear and it works correctly.
Any Idea?
Thank you Very Much!!

Calendar Control Problem
23 October 2007 - 10:12 AM
Hi to everybody...
I have activated the option of the VIP client 'Use Calendar Control', it works fine, but sometimes i face forms in which a Date field is linked to something (orders, clients...), and in these situations the calendar control is not anymore useful for me. The question is: Is there any way to uncheck the 'calendar control' dinamically for some Date Fields?? Or apply the calendar control only to the Date fields in which I want to show the calendar??? The fields must maintain their behavior of date...
Thank you very much

Cycle Tag in Native

Hello to everybody!
Anyone knows how to give a name to a Logical Paging Screen in Native without opening the function in VIP? I need to change some properties from the logical screen and I can't reference it because it has no name...
Thank you very much.

Problem with Global Report in VIP
07 August 2007 - 09:33 AM
Hello to everybody...
I'm working with VIP version 5.5. Now I'm trying to do a Global Report into a physical file with delimited output (';'), with a master - detail structure, ex:
Master Field1; Master Field2; Master Field3
Detail Field1; Detail Field2; Detail Field3
Detail Field1; Detail Field2; Detail Field3
Master Field1; MasterField2;Master Field3
Detail Field1; Detail Field2 Detail Field3
.. and so on
My problem is that I don't know how to make PROIV change line after one record has been written, and I got files like:
Master Field1; Master Field2; Master Field3; Detail Field1; Detail Field2; Detail Field3; Detail Field1 Detail Field2; Detail Field3
Master Field1; Master Field2; Master Field3; Detail Field1; Detail Field2; Detail Field3
I have done two Report Cycles, Detail Cycle is child of the Master Cycle. Am I doing something Wrong? Do I have to make something to explicit the change of line??? Thank you in advance for your help...
