Hello All,
I read on the B&T manual that proiv task can be called using java, c++, etc. Can it also be done using c#? What files do I need in order to do it other than using concerto?
Thanks a lot!

PRO4BUSD Daemon getting killed
06 December 2006 - 08:54 PM
Hello All.
Is there a way to determine what causes the PRO4BUSD daemon to be killed on our unix server? Is there a log to check in the unix side and maybe in the concerto side? Please advise.
Thanks a lot!

Update of VIP file definition
21 November 2006 - 10:47 PM
Hello All,
We are using two version of PRO-IV. One from GLOVIA and the other one from Northgate. The most updated ORACLE table definitions is coming from our GLOVIA system. We use VIP in the northgate version. My question is, what is the best way to update table definitions in VIP without doing it manually?
To update our VIP environment, here's what I do :
1. Delete VIP file definition.
2. Export File definition from GLOVIA using PROIV Basic (.prx)
3. Import file definition in our Northgate environment using PROIV basic
4. Open file definition in VIP to convert native to VIP.
Is there a better way to update our VIP environment? I am new in VIP and notice that there is an option to import SQL script, can I use this functionality by creating SQL script from GLOVIA and then import it to VIP?
Thank you very much!
