Global Reports
21 August 2006 - 04:24 PM
I am trying to call a Global Report using PRO-IV v4.0 I have tried it from Screen, Global Update and Global Screen functions but I get the same message "661 TYPE MISMATCH IN GLOBAL FUNCTION CALL FOR FUNCTION ......" Is there a way, other than to call a report funtion directly, that I can achieve this or is it only possible in a later version of PRO-IV?
Batch Queues
18 July 2006 - 05:58 PM
Hi
I am running an Update Function in a Batch Queue.
The Function calls a Update Gobal Function for every record read.
It appears that PRO-IV generates a line in the Batch Queue every time a call is made.
The result is that the Batch Queue is populated with thousands of blank records.
Has anyone come across this problem and if so is there any way of preventing this?
Thanx
George Walton Sr.

PRO-IV Multi Sessions
16 December 2005 - 07:51 PM
Hi
Does anyone know exactly how the PRO-IV multi-sessions work and are monitored? Is it a number of sessions per unique P4 operator, or is it a number of sessions per physical terminal? Is there a "pool" of numbers? In other words if I don't use all my sessions can someone else use the remainder?
Thanks in advance.

FILE TESTING ON CLIENT
28 September 2005 - 12:54 PM
Hi
I am trying to test for the presence (or absence) of a file on the Client machine. Is there a simple way of doing this without getting a PRO-IV message. When I do a PUT.CLIENT command I get a "Cannot open File....." when it is not there. I tried a SYSTEM GUI Dir ..... command and I get the message "Returning to Pro-IV OK" command.
