PROIVTree ActiveX - SetItemText

Hi Guys


I've implemented a Tree using the PROIVTree ActiveX


When I want to update the text of a row using Tree.SetItemText the program updates the text but it doesn't seem to commit the change.


Because when I select another row the text changes back to what it was. When I select the row I've changed it shows the changed text.


I've attached a screenshot of the issue.


I'm also using .SetItemImage which isn't giving me this issue.


Does anyone have a workaround the issue except for reloading the tree?


Any assistance will be greatly appreciated

ActiveX Grid Control

Hi All

We face a problem where we need to display data in a grid format, where the Y axis is infinite as well as the X axis.

Typically the information running left to right will be financial periods (infinite of course) and the number of rows could also vary. The rows would typically contain Types of Services.

The user needs to be able to scroll left and right as well as up and down.

Does anybody know of an Active X control that would solve this problem? Nothing too fancy. It will need to link to the table (Oracle).

Bringing an Icon "foreward"

Any of you have the problem where one's Icon disappears when an Editbox, for example, displays over it?

Is there a way to force the Icon to always be 'on top'? or is the solution to strategically place one's buttons?

Wonder if anyone has an answer for me.

I have a global function.
On this global function there is a button which 'links' the user to the next global function.
When the user chooses to link to the next function, I do a GLOBAL_LSCALL to the function.
I want to commit all his changes and exit the current function before moving on.

At the moment it keeps all the visited global functions open, and the user has to "ok" his way all the back to where he started linking.


Auto Expand

Hi All

The Pro IV newbie is asking yet another question already.

I have this paging screen. When in contracted mode, a record is only 1 line, otherwise it is 5 lines.
I have a little button on each line.
When the user clicks this button the lines should expand (F9) and set a few fields to VISIBLE = TRUE.
Is there a way of issuing a F9 function call from within my button logic?
