Since yesterday, three of our clients are reporting that when opening the PROIV Service Manager they get "Trouble in server connection. Server error code :Code 1734(winerror.h)" errors. This is after recent Windows updates were applied and the server or workstation was rebooted. This is being reported for both Version 5 and 6 of PROIV>
The operating systems involved are Server 2003, Server 2003 R2 and Windows XP. Anyone else experiencing this?

Clear Autocomplete Entries
01 June 2009 - 08:05 PM
It appears that existing entries in Autocomplete in version 6 are not rolling out the oldest entries when the maximum number of entries is reached as it did in version 5. Has anyone else experienced this?
Siteid changed by external USB drives?
20 May 2009 - 07:59 PM
We have 3 external USB drives purchased for backup purposes. However, when we plug in an external USB hard drive to do database backups, the siteid changes causing serilization issues. Is there any documentation as to what will or will not cause a siteid change?
Thanks!

Command Line Kill for Clients?
25 April 2008 - 09:23 PM
While usually the Task Manager is able to kill users, occasionally we must resort to a KILL command in SQL to kill a hung user. In even rarer cases, the SQL kill fails to kill users and we are forced to stop / restart services or even reboot the server to clear the hung user. The later case is a problem since it will affect all 200 users!
Is there some backdoor or command line command to kill a ProIV client?
Thanks for any infomation,

Windows Vista and AutoComplete Hangs
02 April 2008 - 08:21 PM
It seems that setting AutoComplete to any value other than None causes the application to hang if it attempts to perform an auto complete. Has anyone else notice or resolved this behavior?
Thanks for any info!
