Looking for ProIV work / jobs

07 June 2021 - 02:49 PM

Hi all,

I'm currently on the lookout for new work / job opportunities and I am curious as to if there is anything in the ProIV / SuperLayer market at the moment.

I have a large amount of experience with ProIV, and have been involved with it for many years and at different levels.

From new development to kernel coding and utilities, with lots of work on performance, support and bug resolution.

Having worked remotely a lot, and due to the current world problems, remote positions would be ideal. Short or long term.

If anyone is in need of some ProIV work, then please contact me via rob@proivrc.com or over on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin...n/robdonovanuk/, and I would appreciate any sharing or recommendations that you could help with.

Thanks, Rob.

Something Ate My Alien game launched!

18 June 2020 - 06:39 PM

Hi all,

Well, I haven't touched ProIV for a long time, as some of you might know I've been developing a game in Unity with my partner Kat.

We've just launch it today on Steam and would love for any of you to go take a look!

There is a launch discount of 20% running now :)

https://store.steamp...com/app/1047870

About the game:
Something Ate My Alien is a 2D, digging and puzzle platformer game where you take the role of the AI Antalasia, and control your little Alien blobs to explore the planets you visit! Your task is to dig through the ground of the different worlds and find all the items required by the pirate that is hijacking you. During the adventure on each planet you have to battle environmental dangers, fight off wildlife, solve secret puzzle chambers, and all this while surviving on a depleting oxygen supply and a threat far scarier than the local wildlife.

Status update and new game we are developing

22 September 2017 - 03:26 PM

Hi All,

Just a status update.

I haven't posted here for a while now. I've not been involved with ProIV for some time now.

I've been working in C# and Unity3D for the last year with my partner Kat, and we have been developing a game for PCs.

We've come along a fair bit, and we have just gone public with some videos, screen shots and such, so that we can try to start to build a following.

This is our dev trailer:

Server and software upgraded

05 November 2013 - 04:22 PM

Hi,

I´ve just upgraded the forum to the latest release.

Also moved the site onto a Windows Azure VM. HostMonster who used to host the server has just got worse and worse, so it was time to move.

Hopefully there wont be any major problems, if there is anything, give me a post here, or email me directly: rob@proivrc.com

Thanks,

Rob.
