Hi,

The new forum that I am setting up does not have the 'secret' flag that this forum has in the user database

I am going to migrate all posts and users over to the new system.

If a user has the secret flag set in the old system, then I will add them into the new system with just thier name and email address (no other details). The email address will not be viewable to other members for secret users.

If you want all your details added, then please go to the names database and remove the secret flag.

All other users will be migrated with thier details.

Not all info will be transfered to the new system, just the folowing fields will be available in the new system.

Username
FirstName
Surname
Nationality
Sex
Birthday
Homepage
Email
Inerests
Highest ProIV Version Used
Company working for
Companies worked for
Extra notes
ICQ/MSN/Yahoo/AIM ids

If anyone can think of anymore usefull fields that could be stored, please post/mail me.

Thanks,

Rob D.

Hiya Rob,

Do you have a laptop attached to your skiis ;-)

Anyway, I always found the 'Used PRO-IV since' attribute very useful, as when answering any post, you can judge at what level of detail the recipient will require to aid resolution of their question/issue etc.

HTH's

Cheers

Brian

Skiing....

Thats just a virtual reality prog. running in my laptop... I'm really at home just coding :) :)

... Good point though... Ill try to include the 'ProIV exp. field' ... once the VR prog stops running and am back to 'reality' :)
