Hi ...

 

I would like to get the word 'Hoër' with as special character via PROIV screen.

When capturing the word Hoër ,after enter , the word becomes HOR instant of Hoër.

 

What should I have to enable on PROIV?

We are not translating any language.

Hi Matthews,

 

About 10 years ago we had to reconfigure the MFC client and PDF SSO to handle French Canadian. 

 

In MFC session properties Regional Settings are set to ProivRes_English_UK.dll with the Server Code Page set to "28591 (ISO 8859-1 Latin I)".

In the ProIV .ini file we have JAVA_STRING_CHARSET=ISO8859-1.

 

With these settings we are able to handle French characters in ProIV logic and display them in statics. We are also able to create PDF's in French.
