Hi,
Since there have been a few requests, I have put up a chat room for us, to see how it goes.
You can access the chat room from the main page, on the left hand side. Enter your nick name, which will default to your user id and then click the button.
Nothing fancy to start with, I want to see how much interest there is before I spend any more time on it.
This is a java applet chat room, so if you might have to go here to get the Java plug-in.
Also, the chat might not work behind some corporate networks, due to ports being blocked.
The chat is not hosted by me, so I have little control over the way it runs.
Also, all the ads at the top are not mine and I have no control over them. They are from the chat server that I have used.

Hi Steve,
I was a bit weary (as you know) about putting this up.
I doubt that many people will use it, because of the different timezones etc. And most people at work cant or are not allowed to use chat programs.
In the next version of the chat applet, they should be introducing a thing that saves all the chat 'text' so that it can be viewed later.

PS: How many times have you used 'Knowledge trail' today? You know what people are like with all those 'buzz' words

No opportunities so far today, but later in the week I shall be attending a customer sync tank and we're going to throw our pearls of wisdom into the tombola of knowledge and see if we can pin the tail on that donkey.

I expect the chat room will allow us to leverage synergies to architect world's best practice through a continuous process improvement paradigm - achieving a user-based communication strategy to empower end-to-end win-win customer-focused and goal-oriented, er, stuff.
