ProIV Active X grid control
07 December 2004 - 09:39 PM
I am having a very frustrating problem with the grid control. It is preventing my usage of said control. I really want to use it.
Before I ramble about what the problem is, has anyone used this control with some success and do they use it often?
I can utilize the control's properties and methods well.
Problem is, I utilize a @$COM variable to hold a value that gets inserted into a combo-box if the variable is not blank. The combo-box has the preload feature checked (or on another screen I use a editbox as a display-only field). This allows the processing to move out of the combo-box without the user pressing 'enter'. The problem is that it resizes my grid control columns shrink like there is no formatting. You can visually watch the grid columns go to the correct size( set programatically ) and then shrink back. If I insert a msg box anywhere in the process, I do not have this problem because 'enter' has been captured(or processing is paused briefly). If I have the user just type the value into the combo-box, an 'enter' is struck and I do not have the resizing issue. Other wise, the columns resize.
Thanks

ProIV Active X controls
24 June 2004 - 05:53 PM
I am trying to use the ProIV Mail active x control and I am curious on using it? It is registered and ready to go, but I have found with the active x controls that there is no documentation about implementing their methods.
I have been succesful with the tree control, rich text box ( except scrollbars ), and the proiv browser. Has anyone had any success stories with other active x controls?
thanks
