(Glovia user) I am using bus and task with the SMS Shop Floor Data Collection application.
I am considering using it with another third party solution to do inventory location to location transfers, etc.
1. Do you have a simple sample piece of java (sun) code to call a bus and task task that I could use as an illustration to a java developer?
2. Will bus and task scale up for 1,000 transactions per hour? 2,000? 3,000? In other words, does it scale well or should I not consider adding more task calls.
Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think Pro-IV supply a Java API for B&T - there's just the Concerto servlet.
There's the source of a 'C' program 'p4task' which can call a B&T task - but that only shows how to call the 'C' libraries.
I expect Pro-IV will want to keep the protocol secret as is usuall with them.
Tony.
