Hi all,
Anyone familiar with adding the character sets to the client?
We are opening offices in Korea, Japan, China, and Germany.
Our database has all ready been setup for the double width characters.

Hi Glenn,
I have been involved lexicon/multilingual databases from proiv version 6 .I have a Mandarin and Spanish unicodes translated from English amongst my stuff that you can use as a POC to build a lexicon database for your statics and variables.
I am available to help you if that is what you are looking for.
From my knowledge, you will have seperated lexicon databases for each language.Have a look at the lexicon .xml file which bundled with you proiv instalation if your database is compatible.Postgres,MSSQL and Oracle databases are compatible.
We normally create a .csv file and import it to the lexicon database(import scripts are available).Enable the lexicon on statics and variables functions.I am not so sure if there is a setup in the bootstrap that can enable the function lexicon at once without visiting each lexicon checkbox in your functions. We created a maintenance screen for adding any new unicodes on the proiv lexicon database tables.
I am available on the email , matthewse@hotmail.com for any assistance I can offer with regards to lexicon database on proiv.
Best of luck ;-)

Matthew,
Re this part of your reply:
'From my knowledge, you will have seperated lexicon databases for each language'
is there any reason for this other than for your own control purposes? We have all our languages in the same lexicon database because we may have sites where more than one language is spoken by the users.

This is your captain speaking. We may experience some slight turbulance and then...explode.
