Hi!
I am using PRO-IV 5.5 and I'm trying to use an button ActiveX into a paging screen, to invoke an specific results depending on the corresponding record, but the event "click" doesn't work, I tried using it in a flat screen and it works fine, also,
I want to asign a specific image for each record, and also doesn't work
button.Picture = VARIABLE
but other properties like:
button.Caption = VARIABLE
works fine.
Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks
ActiveX Button

I recall speaking with a PROIV client developer on this subject several years ago and at the time he informed me that ActiveX controls within a paging screen were not supported.
From your description of what you are trying to achieve, could you not use an icon within the paging screen and manipulate the object via the properties. You will have only one (implied) event i.e. on click that you could envoke an action with via a function key. If your current activeX control is more sophisticated than this then another option is to allow the user to select the line and then envoke a pop-up window, passing the selected record's key/info, that contains and renders the activeX control.

Things should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler
