We are a SCO Unix house and recently installed Proiv 5.5 on our first RH Linux 3.0 ES server so I'm new to Linux.

Everything seems to work about the same for the most part except printing.

The printer codes that I send in my Proiv functions seem to be ignored entirely under Linux.

We're using CUPS on the Linux servers and the printers are jetdirects.

Does anyone know off-hand how to configure under cups to have the print job simply passthrough?

Thank-you,
Cathy

Assuming PRO-IV sends the print job through lpr, you need to get PRO-IV to pass "-oraw" to the lpr command.
I'm not sure where this is set up in PRO-IV, but it should be easy to find.
