Apply scientific computer engineering principles to theanalysis of functional and marketing requirements for the development of software systemsapplications. We are currently seeking a Programmer Analyst to support our Glovia International's ProfessionalServices-C&E GSCS department's responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provide advanced programming and analytical skills using PRO-IV SL and Oracle in order to support anddevelop Glovia's application products. Lead teams of a few technical staff on small to medium size projects ensuring that the team membersdeliver to the specification, plan and quality. Interpret requirements as defined by the PRD process into functional overviews (SRD documents). Interpret requirements as defined in the Functional Overview (SRD) into Detail Design Documents(SDS). Perform data modeling relative to Glovia and design for Oracle and PRO-IV SL. Analyze and resolve complex faults within Glovia's applications. Competent with PRO-IV SL and Oracle in order to develop the Glovia application software and correcttechnically difficult application faults. Test that the developed/modified software is working correctly at a unit level by either executingthe unit test plan from within the technical specification or by writing a unit test plan andexecuting it successfully. Have a thorough understanding of data files defined in PRO-IV SL and Oracle Tables so as to performmore complicated database investigations. Develop a thorough understanding of Oracle Triggers and PL-SQL Have a good understanding of the key Glovia modules in order to be able to run the software andinvestigate the software as required. Have a good understanding of the main functions of a typical manufacturing business in order todescribe the typical business process. Implement Glovia development and support standards. Support the needs and share knowledge with all junior staff. Perform in addition any other reasonable duties which may be assigned on an ad-hoc basis. Performs all required administrative functions necessary to the position Accurate, timely submission of timesheets for all time expended. Timely submission of schedules, project status reports and other relevant correspondence. Accurate, timely submission of all expense reports. Some travel may be needed to participate in customer specific projects. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related experience 5 years PRO-IV programming 3 to 4 years designing glovia.com applications 3 to 4 years glovia.com experienceI am working directly for the company:
