I'm using ProIV Single Developer on Windows 2000 Professional(Japanese Version).
I tried to use Japanese Charcters, they are garbled.
How can I use Japanese Characters?

Search for posts on this site with the words "double byte" in them. That should answer your question
Things should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler

It depends on the database you are using as well. If you're connecting to ORACLE on a windows platform you need to make sure that the DB is set-up for UTF-8. SQL Server you need to ensure the collation is set for Japanese characters.

We found a problem in the last release of Pro-IV todo with Japanese characters ant he Pro-IV ActiveX for fields. It was storing them incorrectly so maybe check that as well - that wasn't Single Dev edition.
Thanks

Lee
