Has anyone been able to oficially obtain access
to Bootstrap FILe definitions. We have attempted to
do so officially (eg from ProIV), with no success.

Development of tools like Versioning etc depend on this, or
editors and Version Control Tools etc.

Is anyone aware of changes to Bootstraps in Version 4r530 or
version 4.6

We currently are at V4 release 513 - but are reluctant to upgrade
as are development tool is dependent on our access to these
BootStraps Definitions

* Bootstrap definitions are the definitions of the ProIV
internal files wherein a function resides!

I asked that question to Lisa Dulong in Pro4 tech support, and got this response:
------------------------------------------------
Hi Rob,

What bootstrap version do you have (ie. 4.0Y)?
...
We usually go by version 4.0 revision xxx . Did you mean version 4.0 revision 532?

If you've got the file defs of version 4.0Y then that's the latest. If not, please let me know and I'll forward you the new one.

Regards,
Lisa

.. My response was how do I know the rev of my current filedefs? I'm waiting for a response from Lisa....

Hi,

When you logon to PRO-VI (the main screen where you enter CO/DIV,OPR & Password) the bootstrap version is on that page.

Just in case anyone is confused (or using transparent login) then running the function LOGON will display the Bootstrap Rev below the logo on the right.

My more clearly [I hope] stated question is:

I have some Bootstrap filedefs. THey originally came with an earlier undetermined 4.0 release.
Is there a way to check the Bootstrap filedefs to know their Bootstrap Rev?

When I emailed Lisa Duong asking for the same thing,
we received a reply the same day from Mark Diffey,
asking us to fill out and fax back a nondisclosure
agreement so they could send us the bootstrap file
layouts. We got the layouts the same day.

I haven't looked at the filedefs yet, but I would
assume there are new fields, because there are new features
available under 4.6.
