Lew,

FYI:

The two biggest issues we found with Web Client were as follows:

1) Screen Scaling. We make use of 32 Rows in the GUI and just couldn't manage to draw the same screen through the web client without having scroll bars.

2) Inactive window. If you use to switch between sessions, you will find that when you switch back to the ProIV web client, the web client is inactive. However, the IE session is active. So, if you press you will actually do a refresh of the page and reset your session.

A more minor issue was that when you exited the ProIV application, the web client stayed open on a gray screen.

It is possible that ProIV has resolved these issues. We are very anxious to use Web client for some of our clients who have hundreds of workstations that they have to maintain...

Regards,

Joseph

Thanks both of you. Bill, is the inactive state Joseph speaks of still an issue? If so, is there any way of getting around it?

Lew
