Hi,

The time has come to open up a 'Bugs ' forum.

I put up a poll back in 2001, and nearly everyone voted for a 'Bugs' forum, before that I talked to ProIV LTD about it (about 4 years back) and they said they were going to do such a web site, but nothing has been done.

To view the poll, click.... http://www.proivrc.c...t=ST&f=16&t=817

I have recently been told by ProIV LTD that I can not report bugs to them and they ignore me. Since I dont have a ProIV license.

I could push these through the company that I currently work for, but I'm sure that they dont want to have to admin all ProIV's problems :(

I have been having problems with Bus & Tasks recently, and the current release (322) has a major problem.

The Bugs forum is somewhere where we can post bugs with ProIV so that we can be aware of them and share workarounds.

I will try to 'confirm' as many as possible, but I will see how many people post :(

You should still report bugs to ProIV LTD, so that they know about them, and if anyone has the time and a license, if they could report the problem with Bus & Tasks and LSCALL that I have just found I would be very happy (TRACK ID: BUG00002).

I have entered a few bugs that I know about that the moment, when I get time I shall add others that I am aware of.

Please post any suggestions/ideas you have to make the Bugs Forum any better.

Thanks,

Rob D

Rob,

I find it very surprising that you are not able to help them improve the product by raising issues.

I would have thought it would be best that the issues are raised sooner rather than later by a licensed customer.

Sounds like they (ProIV Ltd) could think you have nothing better to do than spending your weekends attempting to break it...they surely can't think ProIV is that cool. :(

Keep up the good work Rob, ProIV Ltd should do themselves a favour and keep an eye on the Bugs Forum.

Agreed.

I have had similar experiences where I was ignored simply because I was not customer when I reported bugs to another software vendor.

My simple philosophy is "fix the bug before customers find it". :(

Keep up the good job, Rob.
