Bradley,

There are actually 67 steps in the ProIV Screen Timing cycle, as described officially by ProIV, and not 26.

Cheers!

Andy,

Care to point us to the document that displays all the 67 points for us?

It would be a usefull thing to see :)

Thanks,

Rob D.

Ovidiu,

Here is a simple interpretation of the Report Timing Cycle.

Cheers,

Brad

PS: A more detailed chart could be handy or more confusing :) regardless it would be a good reference to have, if available. Anyone?

Hi Rob,

I am pressed for time so I can't list all the steps, and I only have a hard copy of the document. I do not have Visio installed on my computer, so I will attempt to write down as many as I can before I must leave.

1. Start
2. Logic In

[All Models]

3. Entry Logic
4.

[Screen Only]

5. Yes -> Clear Screen If Requested Display Layout
6. Check mode

[End of Screen Only]

7. Default Logic
8. Before Read Sort Logic
9. Sort Select Logic
10. Initialize Files
11.
12. Yes -> Initialize Fields
13. Set Pointer to First Field of LS

[End of All Models]

--------------------------------------------------

At this point the document goes into the LS portion of the TC with many branches from decision branches that it would be impossible to document it easily.

Hi Andy,

Is there any chance of scanning this and posting it or could it be faxed? (we could scan it and post it).

Come on PRO-IV, surely someone must have this stuff and could help by posting it!!

tony
