Hi
Has anyone experience using PROIV WebClient before. I have install Webclient server on my PC and I got this error "Failed to create empty document" when trying to log on to a service in my development server (which do not have WebClient server).
Any ideas, thanks

Albert,
Is the web client app server running ? can you go to the main web index page of the web client web site ?
Where do you see the "Failed to create empty document" message - does it appear in the browser window spawed when you click on the web client service name ?
Have you checked the web client server error logs - have a look in the logs directory of you installation and see if the script_error.log file has anything in it other than log started messages.

Wow finally there's a reply. Thanks. The app server is running and I can see the main index page of the webclient web site. The error msg poped up when i clicked the service name and the error window seems to belong to IE with "PROIV" as a title on the title bar.
I did check the server log but could not find anything else apart from the server startup log. Could it be that the activex component wasn't registered successfully during installation? I have done around 4 times installation on the same machine and couple of time on another machine but the error keep on repeating itself.
