Rob,

I failed to stop and think what "null vote" actually meant!
I just wanted to see the results so far without voting (yet).
..so I was self-disenfranchised on the latest poll

Just wondering how many others will make that mistake..
Maybe a more obvious label would help?

Cheers, Richard

Hi,

Yes, it confussed me for a while....

I am going to change it.

It was supposed to stop people from viewing the results before they voted (to stop people looking at the results and voting the most popular).

Since I have added a mod that displays the votes on the front page all the time, this is a bit redundant.

I am going to change the button to 'Display Votes' instead, and for it not to cast a 'Null Vote'

Unless anyone can suggest anything else....

If you tell me which vote you did this on, I'll reset your vote so you can try again

It was just the server OS poll on the home page.
