In the process of migrating and have been on the hunt for some utilities/tools to help. I originally was in contact with Dan Shannon, but seem to have lost contact (not seen him here in over a month).

Anyone else here have these tools or some of their own?

Apologies in advance. Although I have been working with Pro IV for about 12 years (started on 1.6) it has always been for my company and therefore on the same system. So my experience is narrow.

We are upgrading from version 4, ProIsam, ScoUnix running very nicely (Green Screen) on a Pentium III 3 year old server. We have max 50 concurrent users (incl 2 developers). 800 files and 5000 functions (with, no doubt 30% redundancy) max 10gb data. We aim to go for version 5.5, Oracle and RedHat. I have no idea what hardware we will need and with the constraints of limit budget, I dont want to overspend. Assuming an optimistic growth to 75 users in 3 years time, has anyone similar experience that can at least give me some broad guidelines? We had originally budgeted £5000 for hardware including backup, but there seems to be a significant jump from the £3000 dual Xeon systems to the £7000 quad systems.
