Can anyone tell me how to increase the record lenght in a file, while still maintaining the data inside?

For example: genfile.pro, logic.pro etc.

I'm having a problem with my sql server. It keeps giving me this error:

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Invalid Descriptor Index.

Does anyone know what it means and it can be solved this problem?
The server is win 2000 with SQL Server 7.0 and ProIV 5.5

I'm experiencing some problems with ProIV 5.5

Here it is:

I was trying to import some functions in ProIV an keeps giving me the following error: 018: Error in writing file - Genfile

When I try to Generate previous imported functions it gives me the error Unable to write genfile.

The server is a Win 2000 Serv. and ProIV 5.5

Any help will be highly apreciated.
