Glovia ERP Programmer

The successful candidate MUST have a minimum of 5 years experience programming and supporting Glovia ERP in a manufacturing environment. This role requires business analysis experience, PRO IV and Superlayer development, Oracle administration including stored procedure support, expertise with the Glovia database schema and module relations, end user support of company's customized ERP system, and interfacing to other systems including Shop Floor, CRM, Custom QA.

The candidate must be able to handle project management and reporting, have excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with end users and vendors, be service oriented and willing to work with people to solve complex business problems and support end users. Also, the candidate must have an understanding of BOM's, the ECN process, lean manufacturing concepts, kanban, and working with barcodes.

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, MSCS preferred. Other experience that would be useful in this position, but not required, include: Oracle DBA certification, experience with MS SQL Reporting, and .Net programming.

Glovia Super User / Trainer

SUMMARY:
The ERP Data Analyst will be responsible for collaborating on the analysis of relative data, and the development of end-user reports, to be used by managers and supervisors in the analysis and performance of day-to-day operations.

DESCRIPTION:

The ERP Data Analyst is responsible for developing end-user training documentation.
Conducts training classes for new hires, as well as existing staff on all ERP front-end interfaces.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the detailed aspects of a highly customized ERP data system and manufacturing operation, document processes and procedures, provide training to end users, and work towards being a super-user for this multinational company.
Some travel may be required
REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with at least one industry recognizable ERP system (Glovia preferred, but not required).
At least 1-2 years of experience working with SQL queries and related tools.
Experience working with ERP system data storage and retrieval via SQL, analytical skills, and end-user report and chart development.
Detailed knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems and their various modules, including: Engineering/BOM, MRP/MPS, Work Orders, Sales Orders, Inventory, and Shipping.
Knowledge of shop floor data collection systems is preferred.
High School required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Microsoft Office, Cognos Reports, 4th generation SQL reporting tool (MS Visual Studio / MS SQL Reporting Tools preferred)
Glovia programming a plus but not required.

Glovia Support for facility in Suzhou:
• Education- at least graduate of Intermediate School, college degree preferred
• Five years minimum experience supporting Chess or Glovia ERP software, version 9 preferred
• Knowledge of manufacturing environments and use of ERP systems
• Knowledge of Bill of Materials and engineering change procedures
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Knowledge of FTP administration
• Experience with Helpdesk operations
• Experience with basic PC troubleshooting and upgrades
• Experience with networking (switches, routers, and wiring)
• Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office, and server administration
• Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds (to load paper in printers)
• Experience with basic printer support (inkjet, laser, dot matrix)
• Experience with basic Linux administration
• Experience with basic Oracle administration
• MUST be able to travel to US for training
• MUST be fluent in both English and Chinese
• MUST be able to translate written documents from English to Chinese and Chinese to English
• Experience with Video conferencing would be helpful
