If you are not using variable length c-isam and you can copy your .dat file to a pc or linux system take a look at the PROTEXT product at www.net-aware.com. It can do just what you are looking for.

No offense taken Mike, I just didn't want any doubt about my motives. Having been involved in ProIV files since the IV part was the only number system available I try to be helpful to newcomers.

Actually, Mike, I don't work for the company - I own it and developed all of the products, and you might notice that for the most part I only recommend the use of our FREE demo software to help folks out with single problems or issues. I use this forum to keep awareness of the proiv world, not to sell product.

Get a free demo copy of PROTRACK at www.net-aware.com (the DOS version is best and will work on .pro files from any platform). This program has an extensive set of tools to allow you to examine .pro files.
