We have another position that just opened:


Title:                            Glovia Programmer/Analyst

Date:                           7/13/15

Reports To:                 ERP Systems Manager

Location:                     Headquarters (Hauppauge, NY)



Summary/Scope of Position:


The Glovia Programmer/Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with other departments within the organization to implement new modules in Glovia, incorporate process improvements to existing Glovia processes via program changes and enhancements, develop and provide end-user support and training on an as needed or as requested basis for Glovia processes, including developing training documentation.  Ideally, the Glovia Programmer/Analyst will also monitor system performance and make recommendations for server tuning, SQL and PL/SQL optimization, database maintenance, etc.


Essential Skills & Functions:


  Functional –         Must be fluent with Super Layer (experienced with Pro-IV a plus), well versed in standard and custom Glovia process flows, experience with SQL queries and PL/SQL programming, and possess basic knowledge and skills regarding database administration.


  Leadership –        Motivated self-starter, able to work independently and with groups of individuals at all levels.


  Interpersonal –     Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work one-on-one and in group settings with individuals of varying technical ability and understanding.


  Business –            A broad working knowledge of Glovia and its various modules for use in a global manufacturing environment is required.


Education/Training Requirements:


  • (Preferred) Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or technology
  • (Minimum) Associate’s Degree in a related field or technology




  • 5+ years of experience working with Glovia/Super Layer/Pro-IV required
  • Experience working with Oracle administration and related functions desired but not required
