Hi

Does anyone know a quick way to set FHELPF on (enable) in version 7? In version 5 it was set in the Session Properties but it appears that now in Version 7 I need to

enter ENABLE(&#@FHELPF) in my functions. I know it will stay set but I am hoping there is one place I can enable it without having to edit many functions....

any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hi Amy,

On version 7 --> Tools -->  Session setting, you can check 'Set forced help on'.Is that not the option you are looking for perhaps?

Hi Matthews,

I saw that and tested it but it resets to off when I log out of session. I need it to be on permanently for my users and they can't go in development, hit tools etc. I am assuming there is a way to do this but I just don't see it. Am I still missing something?

Thank You, Amy

It can also be set at the operator/company level. Administration Suite --> Groups --> (Select Operator) ---> Field Behavior --> Help On

PROIV IDE still uses LOGONF as the bootstrap file for companies/operators so if you have the file definition you could write a simple update that sets the Help On to true.

Things should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler

The date format does not get updated via the Session Setting function too. :(
