I am getting a P4TASK Error 51 reason 5 sub-error 129. How can I find out what this error means? And is there any log file that contains more information on this error?

Thank you,

You can go to the PROIV on-line help pages at http://support.proiv...cumentation.htm to research most issues. I have looked up error code 51 (5) and it pertain to task execution failure. It lists various sub-errors but only goes down to sub-error code 124.

I have historically resolved these issues by running the functions that make up the task in interactive mode by hard coding the parameters in the first function. This allows me to see the error message in a more verbose way as it usually goes to the rollback function.

What version of PROIV (VM) are you using.

The other option is to turn on tracing at the daemon/kernel level - but I would try the above diagnostics method first.
Things should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler
