Hi

I have an input field which has a standard combobox on it and would like the field to do an automatic carriage return once the user returns from the comboxbox to the input field.

I used the normal ENABLE(&#@NO-CR) but no joy on a combobox field. If you manually enter data into this field it works fine, but when returning from combox box it doesn't.

The returned data length from the combobox = input field length, so it's not that i'm not filling up the field with enough data.

Any ideas or a workaround?

Hi Geoff

Use the auto-complete checkbox on the combobox properties - works fine. Screen image attached. I am using VIP and Pro-IV 7.1.9 by the way

That helped me locate the problem. The input field was a combo but it was linking to a selection cycle via many time window cycle and this work with autocomplete.

Changing it to work as a proper combo window is now working, thanks Steve
