Hi Chuck.
I know it is stating the obvious but according to the end-of-life information Web-client was end-of-lifed in Dec 2007. I suppose the only thing you can do is try to install it and see if it works

Hey Darren,
We did try to make it work and were unsuccessful. I know it was a long shot but figured it was worth a try. We will be moving to version 6 soon and hopefully will have better luck there. Any bits of knowledge that you care to share in that regard would be great.
Hope all is well, David C. says hello.
thanks

The move from 5.5. to 6 was fairly smooth. The only minor issue was the migration of the security/user data (logonf.pro and security.pro) and value variables (vardef.pro). The key length for vardef chaged from 8 to 32. The operator key within security and logonf changed from 3 to 32 as well. We wrote a little updated that loaded the version 6 files from the version 5.5. ones. You are more than welcome to it if you need it but it took less than 5 minutes to write.
As Steve said, version 6 is actually it as its end of life. I would go with version 7, as amongst other things it has the Open Client that has been greatly improved in this version.
Say hi to David and the rest of the crew.
