Hello,

Dealing with the problem to provide auditing trace of all proiv functions used.
Is there any way to insert the code which is call to specific RDBMS plsql procedure with parameters function name, username, system date time through all functions in the pro-iv repository.

For example:

Logic that would pass each function in the repository, find the logic number for LOGIC-IN or LOGIC-OUT.
And then in that logic specified with that logic number to insert the code with call to RDBMS plsql procedure.

I apreciate any idea or experience if anybody has already deal with similar problem of tracing use of PROIV functions to database table and provide this with packaged procedure that adapt/change all pro-iv functions.

What version of PROIV are you using and what is your development environment tool (Developer/VIP/Native/SuplerLayer) ?? We may be able to help.

Things should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler

Daren,
The idea is to put in very function we have in repository to put in its logic-in or logic-out global logic.
The global logic has to contain the standard corporate plsql or java rdbms stored procedure that is signing the function to the RDBMS system.
Auditing review are demanding to be able to provide in each moment on the RDBMS data system to execute sql query in RDBMS repositiry which lists each connected user with aditional identification of the function that is executed on RDBMS.

Since in our history we did not standardize logic-in structure ( to call the expliciti GLOBAL LOGIC ) now we shoud be able to insert that logic command in every function in some packaged procedure for whole repository
and then regenerate all functions and re-enable use of functions.

Hello Daren,
Developer V3.0

Developer (formally known as VIP) was released with version 6.0 so I am a little confused on how you can be on version 3. Assuming that you are using the Windows Client can you click on Help | About PROIV while connected to a session and let us know the version details.
