We have a strange problem. I think we have isolated the problem down to RDP. We have a new customer who we set up to use RDP to access SQL Database on SBS 2011 server remotely. P4 client then points to local IP for the server. We have done this often without a hitch. This time though, when the remote user uses our order entry function, it crashes the PROIV service. If the users are local, they are fine. We set up Microsoft Diagnostics but nothing points to a problem. We are setting up a P4 trace now. P4 version is 6.2.59.
I was thinking it may have to do with the server version (2011). Dell tells me it is really 2008 R2 under the covers.Thanks.
