One small clarrification . Kindly reply to the below query. Thank you in Advance

"In the run environment, what does Prov IV GL produce? Like in oracle forms it create PL/SQL.
I understand Prov IV GL is a code generator –so does is in the end generate Cobol or something if we have the application running on a mainframe "

It produces its own bytecode and runs it on its own VM.
Like Java, but older.
