
Windows Vista and AutoComplete Hangs

It seems that setting AutoComplete to any value other than None causes the application to hang if it attempts to perform an auto complete. Has anyone else notice or resolved this behavior?

Have you tried it with the 6.1 client, as I understand that the 5.6 client is not supported on Vista (due to Bill Gates changing all the Class structures in MFC

....it's like someone building a brand new road.....and then telling you that you have to completely modify your car before you can drive on it

Can't go to 6.1 yet. We are using 5.24 of the client and the 5.5 revision 334 of the kernel because most of our application works with Vista with the exception of Help file problems and this AutoComplete issue.
