We have a bat file that stops and restarts the PROIV and SQL Server 2000 services each morning at 5am. Occasionally when the first user of the day attempts to log in the PROIV service will stop. In the latest occurrence the log on attempt was almost 2 hours after the services restarted normally. All the entry in Event Viewer says is: The PROIV Server service entered the stopped state.

Has anyone else seen and/or resolved this isssue?

We are running:
Client Version 5.6.8.0
Kernel Version 5.5000, Revision 5.3.0 (Feb 14, 06)
Kernel Service: PROIV Server
