I am currently seeking two skilled Pro IV developers for a large financial institution in Melbourne Australia. It will be an ASAP start and 6-12 month contract for which sponsorship will be provided. I have a budget of 800+ per day. Interested to hear from anyone who is interested and qualified. Happy to speak on the phone some more if you do not want to send a CV/resume.
Please contact me on +61 3 96743402
or bpetridis@mtr.com.au

Hi All,
Thanks for the great response on this one. didn't know there were so many ProIV people out there. These roles are now filled however I will be having another drive in a month or so. I will post another update then,
Cheers
Bill
Hi Bill
Perhaps now that the post has been filled you could tell us who this was. I'm interested as I've been in touch with both large ProIV financials sites in Melbourne in the last week and neither of them are taking contractors (although one is taking full-time staff).
If I were a cynical man I'd say that you were simply CV gathering here ...

Hi All,
Hi Mike,
I am not CV gathering, neither have the inclination nor time. There are two Pro IV houses here and the role I filled was an internal consultant for us to work with one of them. They will roast me if I post my name on a public forum. Please refer to this line in my original post in case you missed it:

The Ad - 800 budget seems attractive - the Ad does not directly state 400 per programmer per day - so maybe a little mis-leading and attract some CVs
I also heard that the company been referred to was Melbourne Insurer - The agen mentions he may be roasted if he mentions the name - maybe an AXAing would be approporiate - I also hear that they've not hired in any new contrators and the response is "filled internally"
make your own mind up whats going on
hope this helps

Everybody please relax, I thought the purpose of this thread was to post job ads which I did.

It was for a tech services company who service a number of PROIV houses, most remotely. The 800 was per person per day. Again they were filled and I don't have anymore requests for resources.

Just ignore the suspicion...There have been some 'odd' job post before, well the main purpose of the post is to see if employees of a certain company will send their CVs, therefore they would know if their employees are trying to find jobs outside...you know what i mean

Anyway, don't get offended with the response...people just want to make sure that you're the real deal.
