ProIV have been saying for a long time that they were going to release the bootstrap file definitions (ie without signing a NDA).

I didn't actually think they would do it though... :-"

The version 6 bootstraps for VIP & Native are now available for download in the partner area on ProIV's website. :o

And not only are the bootstraps available, but they also come with documentation! :o

What the hell's going on?

It's a revolution !!!!

But seriously, and this goes to all you newbie programmers out there - so apologies to the vets who already know this - BE VERY CAREFUL if you write tools/utils that write back to the bootstrap files i.e. Add, Change, Delete

....and back up the files prior to running any mass amendment and TEST, TEST and TEST again

...otherwise the phrase 'all the rope you need to hang yourself' comes to mind :o :-"
Things should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler

Well it took longer than 1 hour for them to disappear.

They now are no where to be seen.

Very strange.

Rob.

Object Properties VIPBM19

The Function Definition: Object Properties file, VIPBM19 holds the attributes that control the behaviour of the format groups in document functions. In Native PROIV the equivalent file was OBJPROP
